A Podcast About Public Space

How do architects think about the cities we live in? What inspires them, and what are the stories behind their projects? In the new series of Město do uší (The City in Your Ears), we’re back with more conversations with people working in architecture, design, and public space.

Once again, the podcast is hosted by David Karásek, designer and co-founder of mmcité. Together with his guests, he explores not only their work and projects, but also what first drew them to architecture, where they find inspiration, and how they see the cities around us.

We recorded the first three episodes at The House in Prague. For the fourth, we traveled a little further to Copenhagen, where we visited the studio of BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group). And our journey doesn’t end there.

This year, we’ve added cameras to the microphones. You can now watch the conversations as well as listen to them. All episodes also feature English subtitles.

Four episodes are already out, with two more still to come.
The podcast is produced in collaboration with Czechdesign.
