Six days, thousands of visitors, and an impressive showcase of Czech design. Designblok 2026 has come to a close, and once again, we were there. This year, we brought Rider to Prague. A bicycle stand that proves even bike parking can have its own architecture.
Designed by Iveta Krmíčková, Rider is far from an ordinary bicycle stand. Its modularity and versatility make it possible to create different configurations to suit the needs of each space. And that's exactly what we demonstrated at Designblok. Iveta also received a Six Days at Designblok this year for another of our bicycle stands, Ocus, which we previously featured in an interview.
But Designblok is about more than products. Above all, it's a celebration of design and a place where ideas, brands, and people come together. And over those six days, we met plenty of them. We talked about design, public space, and the direction cities and their street furniture are heading.
Our founder, David Karásek, and Marketing Director, Jan Juza, also took part in the professional program. At a conference organized by the Association of Czech Industrial Design, they joined other industry leaders to explore the connection between design and brand identity, the importance of a consistent design language, and how to build a globally recognizable identity.
It was an intense six days. Full of conversations, inspiration, and new connections. Thank you to everyone who stopped by. We thoroughly enjoyed Designblok and are already looking forward to next year.
